Notes
Always make husk coffee with food-grade and clean coffee grounds.
Using too much husk can make the taste bitter.
Do not boil for more than 5–7 minutes.
Husk coffee is low in caffeine, but avoid excessive amounts.
1 to 2 cups per day is considered enough.
Drinking on an empty stomach can cause mild stomach irritation, so it is best to drink after a meal.
Adding honey or sugar is optional, it is also healthy without sweetener.
To make iced coffee, it is better to soak it in cold water rather than boiling it for a long time.
Pregnant women, heart patients, or people sensitive to caffeine should consult a doctor first.
Give husks to children in very small amounts.
Husk coffee is not as strong as regular coffee, it has a mild and fruity taste.
Store husks in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
Protect from moisture or dirt, otherwise the taste will deteriorate.
First-time users should start with a small amount.
